About us
Founded by Calvin Tan, our director, C A L design, which was previously the highly acclaimed Design Bliss Interior, was rebranded and transformed with the intention to bring interior design to the next level. We used to only practice design with professional expertise and respectable business etiquette,
but with the transformation and rebranding, we have begun to integrate eco-friendliness approaches whiles continually turning houses into dream homes. All so that we may help you experience the home you have always dreamed of.
Following our tagline; “It’s time to change”, we’ve helped to create change for residential and commercial projects in the past 20 years for a wide range of clients ranging from the common man to even local celebrities.
ID is very detailed and accommodating. What’s important is his knowledge and expertise helps me to narrow down my research towards any equipments or/and items needed in the new house. He is responsible to his job scope and even responsive after we have minor defects after we move in. Definitely created one of the best design, if not the best in the BTO house that looks like condo.
We engaged Calvin for both our 1st and 2nd house reno. We really liked his practical, functional designs and that he is really open to ideas. The tiling and carpentry work are tip-top. Calvin is always reachable when we have questions and his after sales service is as good. Highly recommend his services!
Had our renovation done by CAL Design. Their principle designer Calvin is professional and very knowledgeable. Always able to give recommendations and propose practical & ergonomic suggestions. Best part is, his team of electricians, carpenters and workers are all very delicated and detailed in their works. I’m really impressed with their workmanship. No regrets engaging their service.
Calvin was our designer when we renovated our place. He was very professional and managed the delivery of the project with the planned timeline. He follow up with daily updates of the renovation and keep our mind at ease with everything under control. He is still our go to person when we need any update to our house.
Amongst all the IDs we met with for our first home renovation, Calvin easily stood out because of his expertise, responsiveness and ability to address and provide out-of-the-box solutions to every concern that we have. It’s a joy and breeze to work with someone like Calvin, given his experience and creativity level! No renovation is smooth sailing and there were some minor hiccups but more importantly, Calvin, together with his team was able to resolve it quickly. The overall workmanship was also very good and our friends, after visiting our place, had even requested for his contact. Thank you for creating such a lovely place for us!
We engaged Calvin for the renovation of both our first and second home. He pays attention to details and understand our requirements after the initial discussions, and he will propose the design and space management to meet our needs. There will definitely be some minor issues during all renovation works, but Calvin is very responsive to any problems highlighted during and after the renovation.
